Mike Vass
Widely regarded as one of Scotland's finest young fiddlers, Mike is best known for his work with the Scots five-piece song band Malinky, and in a duo with his twin sister Ali.
From Elgin originally, and now living in Edinburgh, Mike is the winner of the inaugural Neil Gow International Fiddle Composition award in 2008, and here he showcases for the first time his unique and fresh approach to composition.
There will be several special guest appearances when some musical pals join Mike in these concerts.
