Ged Brockie and Chamber Orchestra
Jazz guitarist Ged Brockie, premiers a new work for classical guitar with an accompanying chamber orchestra comprising top young, aspiring, and professional musicians. Ged begins by playing works from his recorded material accompanied by some of Scotland's finest jazz players, and he is then joined by the orchestra to perform the exciting, powerful new work from composer Bruce Hebenton-Graham. Bruce writes; "I visualised a piece universal in its appeal. By combining the musical styles of Arab, Spanish, American, Bach, jazz, pop, and symphonic music, this five-movement work can be enjoyed by everyone."
